SPW Hyde Park Triathlon 2009

Students Partnership Worldwide (SPW) Hyde Park Triathlon 2009

Hyde Park once again will be hosting the SPW Hyde Park triathlon on Sunday 26th April 2009! This fun charity event is the only triathlon of its kind held in the Park, the venue of the 2012 Olympic Triathlon.

It’s a sprint triathlon, and the distances are 400m swim, 15km cycle, 5km run. The event is open to individuals as well as teams of three.

Whether you’re an experienced or a first-time triathlete this is a great event, so get involved!

Last years’ triathlon saw 4 times national triathlon champion Annie Emmerson start the race and Olympic rowing legend James Cracknell OBE compete. This year promises to be just as star-studded, with Annie, James and Craig Doyle (Holiday, ITV Sport) provisionally planning to attend!

Students Partnership Worldwide (SPW) is the global leader in youth-led development, putting young people at the front of change. It works in 8 countries in Sub-Saharan Africa and South East Asia running sexual and reproductive health programmes life-skills education and community outreach projects.
