Former US president Bill Clinton will join actress Sharon Stone at this year’s star-studded Aids fund-raiser in southern France, held each May on the
fringes of the Cannes film festival. Clinton will attend the 21 May event alongside Stone, Harvey Weinstein, Carine Roitfeld, Michelle Yeoh and Donatella Versace, among other personalities. Singer Annie Lennox will give a special performance for the 800 VIP guests seated at tables worth $100 000 apiece. For the first time the gala will take place at the Riviera palace, the Eden Roc, at Cap d’Antibes.
