Start! Tulsa Heart Walk Tulsa 2009

The 25th Anniversary Tulsa Heart Walk will be Saturday, April 18th, 2009 at Veteran&146s Park.
The tents open at 8am &150 more than 4,000 participants are expected to join employees, friends and family to celebrate their fundraising and lifestyle change efforts and to honor all survivors of heart disease and stroke.
We're out to beat that total in 2008 and you can help. The Heart Walk is an annual 5K non-competitive walking event designed to bring public awareness to physical activity and a heart-healthy lifestyle, while raising the critical dollars needed to fund the life-saving mission of the American Heart Association. The 2009 Heart Walk chair is Steve Dobbs, CEO of Hillcrest Medical Center.
Participating in the Heart Walk is as easy as tying your shoes! You can walk as part of a company team or form your own team with family and friends. By participating in the Heart Walk and raising money, you are helping to save lives. Find out more and get involved today!
