Sydney City Rotaract – Photo Competition

Sydney City Rotaract is now accepting submissions to its photo competition Hidden Treasures of Sydney.
Entries from amateur and professional photographers are welcome until 28 August.
David Burns, Senior Lecturer in the School of Design at the University of Technology Sydney and Jim Brownett, Hasselblad Master Photographer will select twelve photographs to appear in a 2012 calendar.
The photographer who submits the best entry will receive a prize, and their winning photograph will be published on the front cover of the calendar.
The calendar will be sold across Sydney with proceeds donated to local charity, Youth Insearch.
The calendar will be launched at a special event for the photographers and other interested organisations and individuals in October 2011.

Youth Insearch is a Sydney-based charity empowering young people to take responsibility for their lives by giving them the opportunity and skills to develop their self esteem and play a positive role in society. www.youthinsearch.org.au
