On the night of July 7th 2007, in the world renowned wine region of Martinborough, an unforgettable evening will take place at Brackenridge Country
Retreat. Guests will view breathtaking art, jewellery and wine, while enjoying the finest bubbles and canapés. The evening will then unfold with a sumptuous 5 course dinner created by Travis Clive-Griffin of acclaimed restaurant Saluté, when incredible cuisine will be matched with outstanding wines.
This glittering black tie fundraiser will be hosted by MC Bob Campbell, Master of Wine, leading wine educator, international judge and contributor to numerous wine publications around the world. Bob will be assisted by well-known Wellington businessman Tommy Heptinstall as auctioneer.
Prospective bidders will have the opportunity to compete for art works by a leading New Zealand artist, Robin White, for stunning emerald and diamond jewellery designed and donated by Ian Douglas of The Village Goldsmith and for truly outstanding wines, including a 1903 bottle of Lansdowne Vineyard claret – the oldest bottle of New Zealand wine in existence.
