Tempe Chamber to honor Business Woman of the Year

Three outstanding businesswomen will be honored May 21 at the Tempe Chamber of Commerce’s 14th annual Women in Business Conference and Trade Show.
Lorraine Bergman, president and CEO of Caliente Construction Angela Leavitt, director of marketing at Telesphere and Elaine Ralls, president of Air Marketing, were nominated for the Tempe Chamber’s 2009 Business Woman of the Year Award. One of them will receive the award at the event. Valley executives including Jay Parry, president and chief operating officer of the Phoenix Mercury Kay McDonald, founder and CEO of Charity Charms and Mary Jo West, communications director of Arizona First Things First, also are scheduled to appear. The event will include a lunch, keynote addresses and a trade expo. It will culminate with the award presentation.
