The book-turned-Blockbuster film “Five Feet Apart” is a story about two young people with cystic fibrosis, and as poignant and emotional as this movie was, so is the sad fact that over 100,000 people in the world carry this genetic disorder.
One in every 25 Australians carries the Cystic Fibrosis gene, and this life-limiting condition has put thousands in life-altering medical treatments and therapies. These alarming statistics are a wake-up call to raise awareness amongst the Australian community, and by participating in The Rose Cup Charity Golf Day, you are not only helping more people learn about the disease, you are also able to contribute to purchasing nebulizers for children living with cystic fibrosis.
The Rose Cup Charity Golf Day, sponsored by LJ Hooker, is an opportunity to enjoy a day on the green and raise funds and awareness for Cystic Fibrosis Queensland, supporting Queenslanders living with cystic fibrosis.
Hosted at Lakelands Golf Club, 100 Lakelands Dr Merrimac, The Rose Cup Charity Golf Day is a four-player Ambrose. Must win prizes and auctions are on offer on the day!
