Elvis impersonators, sequin-clad showgirls and choreographed will bring a taste of Las Vegas to this year’s Florida State Fair. Events will include a Las Vegas-style tribute to half-time shows and the national Elvis impersonator competition finals, in addition to traditional food, rides and other attractions for the family. And check out the chocolate-covered bacon! The fair will open at 9 a.m. each day through Monday. Closing times vary depending on the day, weather conditions and other factors.
Visitors can enjoy an abundance of events, including professional wrestling demonstrations, a roller derby championship and the Country 2009, featuring many popular country singers.
