Madeleine Thompson will climb the highest peaks in Scotland, Wales and England in under 24 hours to raise money for the British Red Cross.
Madeleine hopes to raise 2500 during the Three Peaks Challenge.
“This is the first year that the British Red Cross has hosted this event and I decided to challenge myself this time,” said Madeleine.
“I am normally on the other side, organising the events. However, this time I decided to see what it is like for the hundreds of individuals who take the time to support the charity. The charity relies on the generosity of so many people and I wanted to get down to grass-roots level and make a more personal contribution.”
