Local law enforcement and the Great Falls Fire Department square off at the new IcePlex on March 7 at Guns and Hoses X, the
10th annual charity hockey game. “This is our 10th year and the popularity of the event continues to grow,” Lt. Bryan Lockerby said. Lockerby estimates more than $80,000 in donations and 10 tons of food have been collected in the decade-long history of the event. The demand for tickets for Guns and Hoses is always high. This year, the move to the IcePlex means fewer tickets are available — down from the 3,500-4,000 people who typically attended when it was at the Four Seasons — to approximately 1,300 seats at the IcePlex. “It’s a unique problem to have,” Lockerby stated.
Tickets cost $7 and are available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays at the Great Falls Police Department.
