Treats For Round The Bays Entrants 2009: Top Tastes

Treats for Round the Bays entrants

TOP TASTES: Michelle Nortje tries out some Pump water and Moro chocolate, and pronounces them the perfect partners for HSBC Round the Bays.
Chocolate makes all things better and participants in the HSBC Round the Bays are in for a sweet treat. Thousands of Cadbury’s Kiwi icon Moro bars will be distributed at the finish line. Michelle Nortje was pretty keen to get a head start and “Get More Go on Moro” when she heard the chocolate bar would need sampling to see if it came up to standard to be associated with Auckland’s premier charity event. It passed with flying colours. And so did Pump. The bottled water will also be distributed at the finish line and thirsty and tired participants will be able to rehydrate their bodies after completing the 8.4km course from the city to St Heliers. Pump has been a strong supporter of HSBC Round the Bays and organisers say it is a great fit because it is vital that people consume plenty of water during and after the event.
“We are really lucky to have great supporters like Moro and Pump on board because it just gives participants that little reward, a bit of recognition for going out and doing something good for charity,” an organiser says.
