Tomorrow’s party is not only about micro-blogging, silliness and chit-chat.

Twestival has a higher purpose – it’s part of a worldwide event bringing Twitter communities together in 100+ cities to raise money for 100% of the money raised will go directly to support charity: water’s goal of bringing clean water to 200 communities who are without this basic resource. Pre-purchase tickets, or reserve a spot The evening’s entertainment features singer-songwriter performing an acoustic set. A vegetarian pasta dinner has been donated, and Florian Bellanger of MadMadNYC is sending over 100 awesome French styled “macarons.” (If you’ve never tasted one of these delicacies, you are in for a sweet treat…) Personally, I don’t get the whole “Twitter” thing. But, it looks like a great cause and I wish them the best of luck.
