College can change a person’s life. But many students need help to get there.

The UNCF (United Negro College Fund) helps students pay for college and supports historically Black colleges and universities. Their work gives young people a real chance to learn, graduate, and build a better future. Events like this gala help make those opportunities possible.

The UNCF National “A Mind Is…” Gala will take place on March 5, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, at The Westin DC Downtown in Washington, DC. Supporters, leaders, and community members will gather to raise funds and show their support for education and student success.
