Walk/Run for Abilis 2024: Empowering Lives, Building Community

Participate in the Walk/Run for Abilis 2024 at Greenwich Point Park. Celebrate and support individuals with developmental disabilities while raising awareness.

Did you know that around 15% of the world’s population lives with some form of disability? Events like the annual Walk/Run for Abilis play a crucial role in raising awareness and fostering a supportive community for those with developmental disabilities.

For nearly two decades, the Walk/Run for Abilis has been a hallmark event, bringing together friends and families to support and celebrate individuals with developmental disabilities. Abilis is dedicated to providing vital resources and programs that empower individuals with disabilities to achieve their full potential.

Join Abilis at Greenwich Point Park (Tod’s Point) in Old Greenwich, CT, on Sunday, October 13, 2024, for a day of camaraderie and inspiration. This event is more than just a walk or run; it’s an opportunity to make a meaningful impact and show your support for the incredible work Abilis does year-round.

For the past 19 years the annual Walk/Run for Abilis has become our signature “friend-raising” and awareness building event. Many of those who take part in the Walk/Run for Abilis do so because they are inspired by the story of a friend or family member with a developmental disability. This year we are excited that we will once again be at the beautiful Greenwich Point Park (Tod’s Point) in Old Greenwich, CT on Sunday, October 13, 2024.
