The Walk4BrainCancer event in Melbourne will return to Albert Park Lake on Sunday, 8 November 2026, giving the community an opportunity to come together in support of people impacted by brain cancer.
Participants will meet at Palms Lawn near Lakeside Stadium, before taking part in a 5-kilometre walk through Albert Park. Registration opens from 8:30 AM, with formalities beginning at 9:00 AM and the walk commencing at 9:30 AM. Following the walk, participants can stay and enjoy a community-focused celebration featuring a BBQ, music, and entertainment suitable for all ages.
Walk4BrainCancer provides more than an opportunity to get active. It brings together people affected by brain cancer, their families, supporters, and members of the wider community around a shared goal of improving outcomes and moving closer to a cure. The event also gives participants the opportunity to show their support for those living with or affected by brain cancer while contributing to efforts aimed at advancing brain cancer research and awareness.
