May 3, 2009 Over 300 students participated at Walled Lake Central High School’s volleyball marathon which raised $15, 807 for LOVE 146, an organization
that raises awareness of human trafficking, establishes ‘safe homes’ for children, and provides therapy for those rescued. WESTERN EVENT NORTHERN EVENT
Also held recently was the annual Oakley Park/Wixom Elementary ‘Volleyball For a Cause’ which raised a total of $3,262.87 for the Ronald McDonald House of Detroit.
