A Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office report said deputies were called to a Wendy’s fast food restaurant in Silverdale about 2:30 a.m.
Wednesday by witnesses who said a car had been stopped in the closed drive-through lane for about 30 minutes, the Kitsap Sun reported Thursday. The deputies found the 21-year-old man passed out and “drool (was) coming from his mouth,” the report said. The report said there was a beer in the vehicle’s cup holder. The man attempted to drive away when deputies woke him up, but the truck had been shut off by a state trooper, the report said. Deputies wrote the man seemed “very confused” and did not appear to know where he was. The man was taken to Kitsap County Jail on suspicion of physical control of a vehicle while intoxicated. The sheriff’s report said marijuana was also found in the man’s pockets. ‘Undie Run’ donates clothes to orphans ORANGE, Calif., May 21 (UPI) — Organizers of the “Undie Run” at California’s Chapman University said about 1,000 students donated their clothes to charity and jogged in their skivvies.
