Pony rides, gospel music, games and barbecue dinners for less than $3 are all part of the fun at Saturday’s celebration fundraiser at Wings
of Eagles in North Lakeland. Proceeds will support the Christian charity’s many projects, including its halfway house for women who leave jail, furniture assistance for the poor and support for missionaries working in far-flung parts of the world.
Saturday’s event will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Wings of Eagles headquarters, 8201 Tomkow Road, just off State Road 33 near the Manheim Lakeland Auto Auction.
