Zara Phillips Gambles With Short Purple Frock At Charity Poker 2009: Fulltime Sportswoman

Zara Phillips gambles with short purple frock at charity poker

As a full-time sportswoman, following fashion is the last thing on Zara Phillips’s agenda.
But stepping out at a poker tournament in Monaco last night, the royal horsewoman was bang on trend by combining four fads. The Princess Royal’s daughter not only managed the current style for loose-fitting and one-shouldered attire, but also chose this season’s must-have colour purple, which she teamed with some peep-toe shoes. Satin sisters: TV presenter Kirsty Gallacher and royal Zara Phillips joined forces at the Ante Up For Africa poker tournament in Monaco last night The 27-year-old’s overly feminine look was a change of pace for the tomboyish star, who is usually at home in jeans or jodhpurs. Zara and boyfriend, rugby ace Mike Tindall flew to Monte Carlo yesterday for the Ante Up For Africa European celebrity charity poker tournament at the tax haven’s Sporting Casino. The event not only gave them the chance to show their gambling prowess on the poker tables, but also provided the opportunity to mingle with Mike’s fellow rugby star Paul Sampson and his TV presenter girlfriend Kirsty Gallacher.
Complementing Zara’s outfit, Kirsty had also opted for an aquamarine satin dress, but went for the tight-fitting option which showed off her toned figure.
