NAIDOC Perth Opening Ceremony and Celebrations

The NAIDOC Perth Opening Ceremony will begin a huge festival celebration of Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander cultures and communities.
NAIDOC is the National Aboriginal Islander Day Observance Committee, encouraging all Australians to ‘celebrate the survival of Indigenous culture and the Indigenous contribution to modern Australia’.
NAIDOC will officially open with a flag raising ceremony, and continue with the NAIDOC Perth Awards and Indigenous song and dance.
The event will also showcase services, organisations and businesses via community stalls.
NAIDOC Perth celebrations are part of NAIDOC Week on July 6 to 13.
