There are over 100,000 children and young people across the UK living with serious health needs and they spend a long time in hospitals due to a lack of support to enable them to go home. Meanwhile, those who make it home are struggling with insufficient support. This is where WellChild comes in.
This UK charity helps children and young people with serious health needs by giving them the opportunity to be cared for at home with access to quality and appropriate care and services. WellChild also provides emotional and practical support to patients and their families as well as funds projects and research for carers.
This May, WellChild is bringing back the Ed Chamberlin Golf Classic where many golf enthusiasts team up with a celebrity player to raise funds through a friendly game of golf.
