Calling all Canadians! More than seven million of the country’s population, aged 65 years and older, needs you. On September 16, come out and show your love and support for the elderly. Join the rest of the nation in The Grand Parade, a fundraising walk created to support local charities in Canada who provide essential care and assistance to aging members of the community.
How to Participate
All locations offer a full, in-person walk event with a 2.5 km route you can loop once or twice for 5 km. The event features a walker check-in, send-off ceremonies, signed routes, rest stops, and helpful volunteers along the way.

- Registered participants may solicit online credit card/paypal donations through their TGP Fundhub page.
- Cheque donations made payable to The Grand Parade can be forwarded to:
- The Grand Parade c/o Blue Sea Foundation, 260-659 King St. East, Kitchener, ON, N2G 2M4
- Cash donations should be paid by the participant in Fundhub where donors will be emailed a tax receipt for amounts $20+ immediately once paid.
- There is no registration fee to participate in The Grand Parade, but we encourage all participants to fundraise. As a goal, most walkers raise around $250, sometimes much more!
