Unfortunately, the number of individuals with chronic kidney disease is rising globally, with more than 800 million people suffering from it currently. Having unhealthy kidneys greatly affects the quality of life of patients, as well as their families. This is why Kidneys for Life, an England-based charity, is focused on raising funds for life-changing research into kidney disease, aside from the other services that they offer to renal and kidney transplant patients.

A tandem skydive is the best way to experience free-fall and get a taste of this extreme sport – you’ll free-fall down to 5,000ft at 120mph – that’ll clear the cobwebs! From there you’ll float to the ground and the instructor will control the landing.
The Skydive takes place on 20th April 2024 at Cockerham Airfield near Lancaster.
All training is given on the day and then when you’re all kitted up you’ll jump out of the plane at 10,000ft (that’s an amazing 2 miles high), harnessed to a British Parachute Association instructor.
