Footloose, Grease, Dirty Dancing, Saturday Night Fever, and Step Up are cult classic dance movies. Who could forget those epic hip thrusts, spins, kicks, lifts, and dips that made everyone want to dance after stepping out the cinema? On March 23, 2024, relive that feeling as Shelter Scotland, an organization dedicated to help people struggling with bad housing or homelessness, presents Strictly Movies Glasgow. Happening at The Lomond Suite @ Hampden Park, this event promises to be a fun one with wine, a 3-course dinner, and lots of dancing to music from well-loved movies. Funds raised from this event will go to Shelter Scotland’s programs to “achieve our vision of a safe, secure, affordable home for everyone.”

Put on your dancing shoes and help fight for fairer housing.

Our contestants will be paired with an experienced dancer and will learn specially created choreography in dance lessons prior to the event. The theme is movies, with our contestants and their partners performing to music from movies we all love.

Ticket holders will enjoy an amazing evening with this black tie event: red carpet, a glass of prosecco upon arrival and a 3 course dinner. The dance competition will follow dinner, and then a chance to take to the floor after the winners presentation with a disco until 1am.
