What does ASL stand for? Who composed Fur Elise and the Moonlight Sonata? What is the name of the first deafblind person to earn a bachelor of arts degree? When was the Akouphone, the first electric hearing aid, created? If you were able to answer all these questions, live around Southwick Hill Road, Portsmouth, and know three other people who are great at trivia, here’s an event for you. The Elizabeth Foundation will be hosting their October Quiz Night at the Family Centre on October 24. Make sure to bring your wits with you as you’ll be battling it out with other clever teams. Funds raised will go to The Elizabeth Foundation, a group that facilitates “early diagnosis for babies and preschool children with all degrees of deafness and provide comprehensive educational and support services for them and their families.”
