What are the images that come to your mind when you think of Christmas elves? Red and green outfits, bells, toys, candies, reindeers, and sleighs, and snow, right? What if you had the chance to see elves running on the beach, would you want to witness it? Better yet, would you want to be a part of it? If you said yes and you live around Poole, then mark your calendars on December 8 for Elf Dash. Happening at Branksome Seafront, this event is a 2km fun run for the whole family. You’ll all be given Elf hats at the start to further get you into the festive mood. After the run, jolly old St. Nicholas will drop by to say hi to you and to your fellow elves. Proceeds from this event will go to funding the new classroom being built for young patients at Royal Bournemouth Hospital by the University Hospitals Dorset NHS Charity.
