Boxing headlines have seen some surreal matchups lately—like a popular YouTuber facing off against the legendary Mike Tyson, now approaching 60. While the fight garnered nearly $18 million in ticket sales, it left much to be desired, reminding audiences that hype doesn’t always deliver substance.
In contrast, the Fight To End Cancer Charity Boxing Gala offers a fight that truly matters—one where every punch lands in support of a life-saving cause. Following the inspiring momentum of the Friday Night Fights ‘To End Cancer’ event, which brought together Canada’s top amateur boxers and engaged the wider community, the Spring 2025 Charity Gala will raise the stakes even higher. With a corporate format and global support, the event aims to propel cancer research toward its goal of raising $1 million annually.
On May 31, 2025, the Fight To End Cancer Charity Boxing Gala will showcase a fight where grit, determination, and heart take center stage—not just in the ring, but in the fight to end cancer.
The Fight To End Cancer Charity Boxing Gala is ready to take cancer research to new heights.
Following the success of our recent Fight Team Tryouts, where over 50 applicants stepped up to join the fight, we’re excited to announce that the official team will be revealed in early December. Building on the momentum of our newest initiative, Friday Night Fights ‘To End Cancer,’ we are proud to share that the Fight To End Cancer Charity Boxing Gala will return in Spring 2025. The Friday Night Fights event showcased some of Canada’s top amateur boxers and welcomed the broader community. In contrast, the May 2025 Gala will take the fight to new heights, with its exclusive corporate format and global support propelling our mission to raise $1 million annually for cancer research.
