Regarded as one of the world’s most elite commando forces, the Royal Marines Commandos are a special operations force within the United Kingdom’s Royal Navy. They undergo rigorous and grueling training designed to pushed their physical fitness, mental strength, and endurance to the limit. Have you ever wondered how tough their training is? Do you want to challenge yourself and see if you have what it takes to survive their intense training program? On September 14, you have a chance to do so as Charity for Civil Servants presents Born Survivor. Happening at Ribble Valley, Clitheroe, you’ll be running, climbing, leaping, sliding, and crawling through a 10k mud-fueled assault course designed by the Royal Marine Commandos. Waiting for you at the finish line is the buzzing event village where you can bask in all your muddy glory and enjoy the live music with delicious food and drinks. Funds raised from this activity will go to Charity for Civil Servants whose mission is “to help current, former and retired civil servants overcome life’s challenges and thrive.”
