Heidi Klum may still be going through a divorce recently but she still has something to sing about/for.
Last Thursday, Heidi took part in UNICEF’s celebrity karaoke event and she was supposed to sing “My Girl” with Smokey Robinson, but unfortunately, Smokey did not show up.
“Smokey stood me up,” Klum said to the crowd according to the New York Post. “He was supposed to sing ‘My Girl’ with me. Will anybody else sing with me?”
And because of that, Klum chose to sing “YMCA” instead and asked the crowd to help her sing this classic tune.
And then, “If you don’t know the words you just dance!” Klum screamed. Notable members of the crowd including Tom Hanks and wife Rita Wilson danced along while Klum was on stage.
This event was hosted by “Dancing with the Stars'” Tom Bergeron and was attended by many celebrities which includes Wayne Brady, Don Cheadle and Regina Hall among many others.
The event raised a total of $400,000 for UNICEF’s Schools For Africa initiative.
