Whether you’re in training for the London 2012 Olympics or you just like dressing up at the weekends, the Sumo Run (www.sumorun.com) is your newest hybrid of serious exercise and self-expression. Except, of course, it’s not very serious

The Sumo Run is an annual 5km charity fun run around Battersea Park, London, in inflatable Sumo Suits. This year, the event takes place on Saturday 23rd June, and we are hoping to break our previous Guinness World Record for Most Number of People Dressed as a Sumo. Not only will you be doing something for charity, but you could also go down in history!

Registration is 25 and this includes your very own Sumo suit to keep forever! Participants must be 18 years or older and will be asked to raise 175 for UK educational charity Gemin-i (www.gemin-i.org).
