The remaining ladies of TLC — Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins and Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas” — have been recruited to play JT’s annual Justin Timberlake and Friends charity event, October 17 in Las Vegas. Tickets to the Timberlake-hosted event go on sale Saturday, People reports. Other performers include Ciara, Alicia Keys and Taylor Swift. Original member Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes passed away in 2002 after a car crash in Honduras. Since her death, the surviving members of the band have only performed under the TLC name once. Their final show was a 2003 radio station gig in New York City, MTV News notes. For those who watch an inordinate amount of daytime programming on MuchMoreMusic, you may remember reality series R U The Girl, which had singers compete for the chance to work with the group. Despite picking a winner, Watkins and Thomas did not release new music as TLC after the show.
