The £127,000 makeover of the club’s changing rooms was unveiled last Friday evening before crowds of spectators flocked to witness a thrilling game featuring the Scottish Legends team against Ross High. Famous names playing on the day including former Scotland stars Scott Hastings, Rowen Shepherd, Tom Smith and Craig Chalmers, and despite the best efforts of the Ross High team, the Legends walked away victorious at the end of the match with a final score of 38-21. Said Mr Glynn: “It was a close call but the skill level of these guys, even though they’ve retired, was awesome and really great to watch.” SRU president Jim Stevenson was among the guests.
