RALLYING and motorbike enthusiasts from all over the country will find all roads leading to the Dewars Centre on Sunday.
The Glover Street venue is hosting the eagerly-awaited Scottish Clubs’ Motorsport Show and a huge variety of “working cars” will be paraded. Contemporary and historic rallying vehicles will be on show. Car clubs from all over Scotland have seized the opportunity to fly the flag. And they will be joined by a club from south of the border intent on bringing 10 Mustangs to Perth as part of their own weekend rally. Dave said: “It’s the only rally motorsport show and the vast majority of cars on show are still being raced, no matter their age.” He noted that one Alvis, manufactured in 1929, completed the Paris-Peking trip just two years ago. It will be joined by a ‘35 Alvis which regularly takes part in competitions.
Dave said: “We have vehicles coming from as far afield as Brora and London. It’s a show which will appeal to the whole family.
