Pub Idol, organised by charity Caudwell Children, will see aspiring singers go head to head in several heats at the Millstream Pub in Hitchin from February 27. Two contestants from each heat will then take part in a grand final in March, to be judged by Maria, with the winner treated to time in a recording studio and the production of their own CD.
Money raised from the event will go to Caudwell Children, which provides direct donations of treatments, therapies and specialist equipment to sick youngsters.
