Taking time out of his four-day visit to Australia, Kewell was a roaringly popular speaker at the school, highlighting the need to start living an active healthier life, especially at a young age.
The Healthy Active initiative was started in 2006 in response to the nations obesity problem, the obesity problem in western societies and societies around the world. Kewell was the first ambassador to sign up for the cause.

I’m just hoping to … show my support to what we’re trying to achieve as Australian people, to get obesity down and to live a healthier, happy life
