An Ovarian Cancer Cocktail Party has been organised by three Public Relationsstudents from Swinburne University of TAFE, and it looks like it’s going to be a night not to miss.
The Cocktail Party is being held to raise awareness and money for the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation.
Ovarian cancer is one of the more serious and less talked about forms of cancer, affecting about one in 90 women, most over the age of 40.
Unfortunately by the time an ovarian cancer is diagnosed, the disease will have advanced significantly and can often be terminal.
The Cocktail Party in aid of the OCRF (Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation) will also host a viewing of one-of-a-kind pieces from spring-blossoming local fashion designers.
The Swinburne University Ovarian Cancer Cocktail Party for The Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation is on tonight June 8, at the Baroq House, Drewery Lane, Melbourne. Tickets are $25, and include a free drink and cocktail food.
