Global Financial Crisis Hits Sydney Charity Organisation

Its during recession times that a charity organisation for those in needis atits most important, but the global financial crisis is affecting even the most giving.
However, Rev. Bill Crews who founded the Exodus Foundation says closure is unthinkable. The Foundation serves 400 hungry and homeless people every day at their Loaves and Fishes restaurant, and provide counseling, medical care and support.
Yet when trying to raise funds to continue their work, Rev. Crews explained even the most generous donors were finding time tough, We’d ring people and ask for money and end up counselling them instead.”
The global financial crisis and the funds the charity gave to the bushfire appeal have left a $1.5m shortfall of the yearly $5m it costs to run the organisation, which is why the Exodus Foundation is now asking for your help with their Winter Appeal.
