A New VOICE in the Fight Against Trafficking!
VOICEs inaugural fund-raising gala dinner, VOICE of Hope, will be held on Thursday 4th December, 2008 at the breathtaking WatervieW Convention Centre, Sydney Olympic Park.
Hosted by VOICE Executive Director and MC for Asia Entertainment, Ms. Lisa Thuy Duong Nguyen, and Editor of The Vietnamese Tribune Weekly, Mr. Luu Dan, VOICE of Hope will bring the VOICE Community and friends together for an evening of live entertainment and auctions.
The evening will feature an exciting entertainment program including distinguished keynote speaker and Big Mum to hundreds of Cambodian orphans, Ms. Geraldine Cox AM, and a special performance by Australian Idol 2008 top ten finalist, Mr. Thanh Bui.
The evening aims to raise much-needed funds for VOICEs newly established office/resource centre in Cambodia. With your support, VOICE can provide direct legal, financial, educational, social and medical services to vulnerable Vietnamese women and children who have been sold for their virginity and/or trafficked into the sex trade.
