It may seem a little premature to be advocating for the 2007 Melbourne Wish Ball, but this lovely little occasion sells out too damned fast not to get in early.
The 2007 Melbourne Wish Ball, brought to you by, and for the aid of the Make-A-Wish Foundation Australia, will be an evening of extravagance and wonderous marvel. It promises to be bigger and better than the previous year’s Ball offering
non-stop entertainment and a host of stars from the stage and screen
The 2006 Melbourne Wish Ball was full of amazing frivolities including 6 well known rockers, 14 Chinese line dancers, 3 body building spunk-rats and a Robbie Williams impersonator. It remainshigh up on the gossip list, along with Big Brother, Paris Hilton’s jail sentence and whatever antics Britney Spears has been up to lately.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation is something positive that came out of America in 1980. The Australian arm began granting wishes to children, living with life-threatening illnesses, in 1985.
Some of todays morepublicised wishes have been meeting an armadillo, becoming a published author and owning a plasma TV.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation Australia 2007 Melbourne Wish Ball is on September 15 at the Palladium Ballroom, Crown Casino. Tickets are $185pp or $1,800 for a table of 10.
