LEGENDARY snooker player Alex ‘Hurricane’ Higgins has been dropped from a charity event in next month after he threatened a referee and left a
10-year-old boy in tears at a separate match. As a result, Limerick and , who had arranged for the 59-year-old to play in a charity match in Limerick next month, have dropped him from the schedule. Higgins later scolded a 10-year-old boy for apparently distracting him. The boy was reduced to tears. Cue Club Events, who were organising the Limerick match on March 21, confirmed Higgins has been dropped from the exhibition event.
