Here is a look at events and stories we’re keeping track of for the week May 11th-15th US Representative Sue Myrick will host a
Government Contracting and Stimulus Information Seminar in Dallas, NC today. The seminar will highlight the basics of government contracting, business resources available in our area, and the impact of the 2009 stimulus on small businesses. The seminar will run from 8am-12pm at the Gaston County Citizens Resource Center at1303 Dallas-Cherryville Highway in Dallas. Those interested in attending can RSVP by calling 704-362-1060.
President Obama meets the Tar Heels- President Obama will host the 2009 Men’s NCAA Champions, the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill Tar Heels, at the White House at 1:45pm today.
