A Quiz for a Cause: Celebrating 40 Years of Wildlife Protection and Conservation

Save the wildlife one trivia at a time.

What is a rhino’s horn primarily composed of? What is the color of a hippopotamus sweat? What is the most trafficked animal in the world? What is the world’s largest land animal? How many toes per foot does a painted dog have? If you know the answers to at least three of these questions, then you have a shot at winning David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation’s Quiz for a Cause happening on March 22 at Shalford Village Hall. This wildlife themed quiz is part of the 40th anniversary celebration of DSWF, a “wildlife conservation charity operating across Africa and Asia to end wildlife crime and protect endangered species in their natural habitat.” Proceeds from this event will go to ensuring that DSWF can continue with their programs geared towards fighting wildlife crime, protecting endangered species, and engaging the communities living alongside wildlife.

Date: March 22, 2024
Time: 7-10PM
Venue: Shalford Village Hall, 1 Kings Road, Shalford, GU4 8BQ

Teams will be made up of a minimum of four people. A bar will be available throughout the night, serving a selection of wine and beer, and soft drink. There’ll of course be prizes for our top quizzers, but as the saying goes, you must be in it to win it, so book your tickets today.

Albert Einstein once said, “Our task must be to free ourselves by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature and its beauty.” This March, be part of the movement to save wildlife. Book your tickets to this event here now.
