Adam Lambert has made a video as part of the It Gets Better Campaign, speaking to the young LGBT community.
Lambert gives advice to bullied teens, saying, ‘It gets better. It seems hard. I think being different is always going to be a tough climb. There’s always going to be people that are going to be scared of it.’
The official It Gets Better Pledge states that, “We are the kids who have been bullied for being gay, lesbian, bi or trans. We pledge to stay open and strong. We are also the friends, family members, teachers, mentors, and allies of anyone whos ever felt like they didnt fit in, gay or straight. We pledge to talk to the kids in our lives to put an end to the hate, violence, and tragedy and to offer advice on coping, strategies to make it better, and to remind kids that It Gets Better.”
Some of the world’s greatest performers and legends were gay, including Queen’s Freddie Mercury, Marlon Brando and James Dean.
