Aiming High To Boost Charity 2009: There Outdoor

Aiming high to boost charity

THERE will be a big pull for outdoor enthusiasts on Saturday as competitors raise funds for charity.
The West Percy Hunt is holding a clay pigeon shoot which is open to the public. Organisers are hoping to attract both experienced shots and beginners who would like to have a go. For those wanting to try clay pigeon shooting for the first time a beginners’ stand will be held throughout the day and a gun and tuition will be provided. The event is taking place on the Linhope Estate, by kind permission of Lord James Percy. Donations from the day will be made to Ingram Church to help with maintenance work, and to the Countryside Foundation for Education charity. The event starts at 10.30am with the last round at 2.30pm. Opening rounds costs &pound12 and re-entries &pound8. Strictly no dogs.
