Another iconic media personality, Alan Jones has announced he has Prostate Cancer.
The morning radio talk back host was back in the saddle this morning and says he won’t be giving up broadcasting anytime soon, but will take a temporary break to undergo surgery in mid July.
‘I won’t be away for all that long but it will be weeks, it won’t be months, you lie around and you wither,’ and, ‘of course I will be returning to air, I’ve got to make a quid ‘ he said to the press.
Alan Jones at 67-years-old was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer in May but kept it discrete until this week.
