Alls fare in annual charity footie game

Taxi drivers to take on Dukla Pumpherston FORMER Old Firm legends have been lined up for the third annual charity Clydebank football match in
aid of St Margaret’s Hospice. The game will take place at Glenhead Park – home of Drumchapel Amateurs – on Sunday September 13 at 2pm. In previous years the town’s two taxi firms Clydebank TOA and Clydebank Taxi Cars have pitched teams against each other, but this year sees the cabbies club together to take on BBC pundit Chick Young’s Dukla Pumpherston – made up of former SPL stars. Tickets are available on the gate, costing &pound4 for an adult and &pound1 for a child, and also by calling Kevin McLaughlin on 07905566352, Colin Aitken on 07864962609 or Paul Murray from Clydebank Taxi Cars on 0141 952 5005. Gina Townsley, from Clydebank TOA, said: “We are hoping to give them a good run for their money, but at the end of the day it’s about raising money for the hospice.” Social Bookmarking
