An Afternoon With Harry The Piano: When Music, Food, and Goodwill Combine

Spend an afternoon listening to beautiful music and eating good food, while campaigning for wildlife to be treated with compassion and respect.

What is your favorite piano song to listen to? Is it Beethoven’s ‘Moonlight’ Sonata, Chopin’s Nocturne in E flat major, or Mozart’s Piano Sonata No.11? Or are you more into newer pieces like Ludovico Einaudi’s Experience, Yann Tiersen’s Comptine d’un Autre été: L’Après-Midi, and Joe Hisaishi’s Merry-Go-Round of Life? On November 17, you just might have a new piano song to add to your list of favorites when you attend An Afternoon With Harry The Piano. Happening at Branston Golf and Country Club, Burton on Trent, this event promises to be a delightful one with the sounds of wonderful music and the smell of delicious food filling the venue. Proceeds raised from this occasion will go to Born Free, a charity who campaigns “for a future where animals and people can coexist and where threatened and endangered species are protected for generations to come.”

According to the Living Planet Index, there is “an average decline of 69% across tens of thousands of wildlife populations since 1970.” While conservation efforts of organizations like Born Free are helping, more people should get involved to stop the loss of wildlife. You can do your part to help the animals by attending An Afternoon With Harry The Piano. Get your tickets to this event by e-mailing Val Hackett at [email protected] or calling 01283 701727.
