Next week on Monday 25 May, we have some highlights of British International School Phuket’s International Baccalaureate 2009 graduation ceremony.
Later we have an interview about US Navy ship officers helping at Barnhem Thai Swedish children’s home in Phuket with cooperation of Rotary Club of Patong. On Tuesday 26 May we have an interview about a Youth Cricket league held in Phuket. On Wednesday 27 May an interview about Mai Khao Turtle Fun Run held in Phuket. On Tuesday 19 May, we had an interview with the organizer of a Sports event for the many lively Filipino residents in Phuket and a special report on Soi Romanee & Thalang Road old shophouses and museum pieces inside. Andaman News is still looking for substitute news readers/presenters, on live programs at 8.30-9am. They must be Thai or half Thai with fluent English speaking/reading/listening skills & a pleasant personality, and available ASAP. Also TV Channel 11 was renamed NBT since 1 April 2008.
‘Andaman News’, which started in March 2004, is usually on air live most Mondays to Fridays, at 8.30-9am, in English, with the latest local Phuket, Phang Nga and Krabi news, reports, interviews and weather forecasts on local NBT TV, (VHF dial, not UBC-True), to Phuket, Phang Nga & Krabi provinces plus possibly repeats on Phuket Cable TV’s channel 1 & their regional networks at 3.30pm, 7pm & 1am and on FM108 Mazz Radio in Phuket at 7pm. (Sometimes the other channels do not air Andaman News due to their technical problems).
