Anne Robinson chose an Irish fundraiser to show off her youthful new look after jetting into the country to lend her name to a
worthy cause. The Herald can reveal the Weakest Link star helped raise &euro25,000 for charity at a silent auction attended by fellow luminaries Graham Norton and Michael Gough. Although she has been dubbed the ‘queen of mean’, Anne revealed her softer side after helping drum up cash for an Irish centre for senior citizens in West Cork. The 64-year-old hit the headlines this week after showing off her fresh-faced features in publicity shots for the new series of the hit programme, sparking suggestions she may have had some subtle facial fillers. However, a spokeswoman for the Cork event has described her as “very natural looking” on the night and described her as charming. She said: “She’s a very attractive woman, she looked stunning. “It was absolutely fantastic that she came over to support us on the night. She was very open and was chatting away to everyone, letting us take pics and all the rest. We were thrilled to have her over.”
Clad in her trademark black ensemble, the flame-haired TV presenter flew into Ireland just to attend the silent auction in Schull Sailing Club after being invited over by an acquaintance on the fundraising committee.
