Coming up at the end of July is the Annual EPIC Day at the Races, so you won’t have to wait until November to pull that hardly ever worn hat out of the wardrobe.
The event will be held at Legends restaurant and at Mooney Valley Racecourse, which is regarded as one of Australasia’s most innovative thoroughbred racing clubs.
The Moonee Valley Racing Club boasts a brilliant view of Melbournes marvelous skyline providing a beautiful backdrop to a first-class racing and entertainment facility.
By attending the Annual EPIC Day at the Races, you can help raise funds for the EPIC Education Support Service for Schools.
EPIC began in 1976 and is one of the major service providers in Victoria specialising in providing teaching and therapy programs for young kids with a variety of developmental disabilities, like Down syndrome and autism.
EPIC has opportunity shops in Hawthorn, Preston, Diamond Creek and Reservoir and they frequently collect funds through volunteer highway collectors. So if you can’t make it along to the Annual EPIC Day at the Races, dig through some of your parking money and donate next time your in a traffic jam, or stop by a second hand store and see if you can pick up a relic or two to support EPIC.
